STE offers a wide range of high-quality carbide scarfing inserts for removal of welding bead from the outside of the tube. We source our carbide products and associated tool holders from one source only ensuring that you, the producer always benefits from consistent quality 100% of the time. Our carbide manufacturer has been designing and producing high quality carbide products for more than 40 years.

We have negative, positive and also super-positive inserts available as well as various coatings and carbide grades to suit most tube welding applications. They come in 15mm, 19mm and 25mm sizes with plain or ‘chip-breaker’ profile to obtain more precise chip management.
